easy like sunday evening...

no idea what it's doing to my liver but i had to do some vicodin this evening = it was the only thing i had in my house that would chill me out enough to go meet the lovely fiance. i'm not sure what is going to happen but he wants space while he looks for a new job...that could be days or weeks or ? in this recession. ugh. all i can do is keep getting on with my life and crochet and daughter and friends and be here for him when he gets his head round everything that is going on...

brainiac

so as i said yesterday...i stayed up to watch the obama election win.

but still last night i couldn't think why i was sooo tired.

ugh, brain fog.
how could i already forget watching the mc cain conceding speech!

and i must still be needing to catch up on rest, as i voluntarily missed knitblub/club this evening. just came straight home and had some reheated veg chili and will hunker down and crochet some more skully squares for me lovely fiance's blanket later...

so what is everyone doing this weekend?
feeling very lonely without my fish sister here!

just a quickie...

had a really good gym session this evening, feeling stronger and am able to up my weights a bit.
then came home, crocheted some halloween monsters for a bit...latest is stripey purple!

and have just finished another yoga routine.
i'm still trying to do twice a day (this morning was fail)
but tonight was quite hard as i was already sore from my workout - which means it was probably even more beneficial as gave me an extra long stretch...except i'm really finding it hard to do the crescent moon pose when i have to do a c-shape to the right hand side.

that would be my lovely liver again i spose!

monday back in bed again

monday back in bed...
but kinda unavoidable really as i've been going all out since ibiza.
work has been manic and culminated last week with a 14 hour shoot on friday where i just mucked in and became the calligrapher, art department, wardrobe, model, brand and CSAA nazi. so no wonder i slept all night when i finally got home at 1am after getting up for my taxi at 6!

but even though i woke up at 7am i was straight back to bed and didn't get out til 7pm
and that was only for a yummy take away from wagamama

then spent the day in bed yesterday crocheting a lovely skull and crossbones scarf for the fiance - made of yarn that his grandmother gave me when i was in naples last month, its so cozy i cant wait to finish it and start on one for myself - but i also need to finish the skeleton bride/groom that i'm making for my friends cory/alice for their wedding party this month.

but all weekend i kept getting achier and achier and painkillers and stretching were not helping, woke up with chills and sore throat this morning so gave in and called in sick - only my 3rd unplanned sick day since i started treatment last feb, not bad if i do say so myself!

and as my fever has escalated at least my rash has gone down.
so much so that i have booked myself in for some botox on wednesday night!
wohooo!!!

monday - back in bed...

so i did spend most of yesterday asleep, although i did manage to also help my daughter take out her lovely bright tangerine hair extensions (i'm sooo thinking of doing a vivienne westwood myself! what do you all think? ) and crochet some sushi - yes sushi! well, at least it is vegan, lol...ugh, speaking of vegan, i'm still having such food problems...i think now my taste is coming back a bit that everything just tastes too strong - so struggling with all my latest 'safe' vegan foods...like the cheap organic humus.

and its not the only difference i'm starting to notice.
today i did my holy monday trinity of doctor/chemist/postbox...
and even though i felt horrible and chesty coughy and feverish, i wasn't as weak and heavy in the legs or as slow moving as i have been. no spring in my step yet - but not quite winter any more either...if that makes any sense?

just wish i had my girls humbleheart and fishwhiskers here closer by so we could all start to feel better together...geography sucks sometimes.

another countdown.

i am fake bake sprayed, freshly pinkly pedicured and my bag is packed with lots of little clothes - like my sexy 40's style black one piece swimsuit, as well as some crochet to while away the hours on the beach...now just off to my hospital appointment then i can really truly start this vacation!

phew. i really need this.

monday monday

still feeling really really tired and achey, but oki.
worked a bit from home today then had lunch up on the roof...well okay not really lunch, more painkillers washed down with a 0.0% cobra beer. but still yummy and refreshing. the only thing that really sounds good is sorbet and i've none in the house so had to make do!

and have a day booked off work tomro - am planning on going to a gig tomoro night and do not want to be too wiped or stuck at work too late to make it. murder by death are one of my favourite bands ever, and i've not seen them since they were here at the beginning of last year. i don't know how to describe them - but their recordings don't do their live performances justice at all.

also as i have the day off i really really want to see the crocheted coral reef at the hayward.
i cant believe that it closes at 18:00 most nights - how are very many pe0ople going to get to see it? seems a bit shortsighted to me, but crafty things seem to always be sidelined....too womens institute for the wider public i guess...

i'm soo old skool. lol.

monday not a funday

ugh...still in bed and fighting to stay awake.
the only thing that woke me up was a couple work calls from ppl that are out of the office so forgot monday is my sick day. no biggie...but now i'm up i know if i sleep all day i'll never sleep tonight and be dead dead dead on my feet/ass tomoro - which i really dont need.

am so busy, working on great projects, but still all i seem to do is work/sleep.

i still adore decleor

so...further to my post/comments below i was going to do a nice little links list to the decleor site of each of their products that i own with a nice little review of each....but no! they have a completely useless flash site that has no deep linkin to products option. not much help if they wanna get blogged now is it???

so you'll all just get a links list plain as day in my sidebar at some point when i'm sittin on my bed with my vanity case and laptop handy and some time to catalogue everything that i have.

i really am never going to get round to crocheting those replacement just in case orchids am i?
