sorry for the cross post!

i've also not been round very much, so huge apologies from me.
am working more hours than ever.

still with my lovely blondeboy that i met almost a year ago while visiting fishwhiskers!

FINALLY had my fibroscan this last week.
it was absolutely horrid.
got sent to the royal free in london for it and the woman scanning me made feel absolutely horrid about my weight - she actually jiggled my tummy and told me she doubted she could get a reading with all my padding. i almost burst into tears! but instead turned it into anger and told her if i'd got the test over a year ago when i was still sick i'd have been alot thinner.

she then chastised me again for wasting my healthy liver by gaining weight and turning it all fatty.

i don't know what to do - this is about the 5th health care professional that has told me i need to lose weight, but none of them have offered the slightest bit of help to do it...so took matters into my own hands today and used the last £80 i had to my name and went and got a colonic irrigation - thinking of it as a big 'reset' of my system. the woman performing the colonic is an x nurse and was wonderful - explained to me that if my liver is not working well then the best diet and exercise in whole world will not help me lose weight.

so...she suggested and apple juice liver cleanse - has anyone else done one?

bosom buddies

okay, so bit more proper post now i'm feeling more human.
i was sick sick sicker than a dog and twas very scary.
if my daughter had not taken me to the doc last friday who knows what could have happened as i certainly wasn't able to get myself anywhere. my fever was 44degrees (in eurotrash degrees).
that is the highest the doc had ever seen...ever.

so what i thought was tattoo flu from a new tattoo, then turned into what i reckoned was stomach flu as everyone i'd spent the weekend with in soho had it bad - so bad that my friend just layed on her stairs and wished for death...so i wasn't alone. it wasn't just flu though - my breasts were covered in horrid red marks, like i'd had the month before when i was sick and went to the doc! only 5 times worse.

doc gave me 2 x different types of penicillin and the heaviest codeinies allowed as my head was a death grip of pain.

so it seems i also had cellulitis across my whole chest, but it turned out to not just be in the skin, but in the breast itself - so lovely mastitis...which i reckon i'd been carrying around for a month since last time i was ill. lucky lucky lucky my daughter dragged me to the doctor with her when she did! so a week later and my fever is finally down to normal and if i wasn't full of pills i'm sure i'd have an appetite.

BUT
my right bosom which seems to be patientX is still a couple cup sizes bigger due to infection.
which could be quite comical if i do make it to ibiza next week...

i really do hope i get to go!
it doesnt seem like it will my big blow out vacation that i'd planned, but i'll still be going out all night dancin' the first night me and my punker friend that works at the ship land. then the next day i'll just head up into the hills to a spa and spend it soaking in salt baths - seasalt has got to be good for bad bosoms...

also really hope i can go to give my daughter a break.
she's been amaxingly wonderful despite herself being down, she's taken such good care of me.
i really am lucky.

viral culture...

shot 14 done and dusted...
a bit later than usual these days but was out for a bite to eat with my lovely clients to celebrate our site going live. they new i was sick and going through a chemo-y type treatment but i finally came out and told them about my hepC. they really cant believe how i'm holding down the hours that i do do with the meds that i'm on as everyone else on the project is exhausted and in good health!

think its because my work grew out of something i would be doing anyway - and no, not crochet! that was in another life, lol...

but i have been so surprise and amaxed at who has/hasn't been supportive. clients and production companies that know are sooo there for me when i need and understanding when i'm wiped out. but close friends that i thought would help me out are no where to be seen for the last few months. fuck them. i know people are busy but some of them have been in hospital and i've dragged my own sick ass halfway across town to see them/take their kids...

also, another friend that hasnt' been around or even called since week 6 is someone my life has revolved around for years as her daughter had chronic fatigue - to the point that all holidays, etc for the last 5 years have been at their house ---- but i don't even warrant a fucking stop by cup of tea.

whatever.

sorry to rant - but realising how lovely the business/industry client production company colleague type people have been as opposed to those i have supported for years really makes me realise how much my life is going to move on and change when treatment is over. i'm already planning a big party to say thank you to all these people...

and then my wedding too!

yikes.
